Want to go to Wigtown?

This coming Saturday (14th of September), the First Team will be taking a trip to Wigtown, in beautiful Galloway, to take on Wigtown & Bladnoch in the SFA South Region Challenge Cup.  It promises to be (in the words of Wallis and Gromit) a grand day out.  The Club will be running a coach and there are spare seats available for supporters who wish to join the party.  To secure your place(s), please send an e-mail to info@hwufc.org.uk or contact any member of the Committee.

We hope there will be a good following for the lads, whose fine win over Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale at Saughton on Saturday showed that they are in good form going into this tie.

For those who don’t know the area, Galloway is Gorgeous (we offer the slogan free of charge to the local tourist board).  We leave Riccarton at 10 o’clock; the journey should take around 2.3/4 hours, plus around 45 minutes taken up by a stop for a light lunch in New Galloway around noon.  If all goes to plan, we should get to Trammondford Park around 1.30, ahead of a 3 o’clock kick-off.
